Good, down to earth food. If you are looking for typical regional dishes with crab, fish and the like, this is the place for you. The wait staff are friendly, quick and professional. Prices ok. The dining room is cozy, in some corners you should be dusted again. I would like to give special praise for the exemplary corona hygiene concept. The protection of staff and guests is taken really seriously here and has given some thought - another reason why we will probably come again!

As always, super delicious ... Service extremely friendly, even with a dog no problem at all ... The portion of fried potatoes as a side dish could be bigger in my opinion, but that's MY opinion ...

Tried, but can't get beyond the status of a middle, no lower, chip shop. Cable simply pulled over the wall, water damage in the guest room. You can already see from the outside what the content promises .... better not!

We recommend. Service and quality of the food was very good. The portions could be a bit bigger.

Unfortunately for the price it was really children's portions. The salad was a fork of carrots, an eighth of a tomato, five slices of cucumber, and a fork of coleslaw. The ambience was great, but that was it. Too bad it looked promising.

Delicious. Fish fried very well. Prices reasonable too. I will definitely visit again.

The restaurant is right on the dike. The establishment has already passed its prime. Giant currywurst ordered, but unfortunately the sausage was without sauce. This was reordered and an extra € 1.50 was charged. The prices are too expensive for the size of the portions. Staff is friendly.

I think you pay more for the ambience here. 4 adults, all of them had a different dish .... in the end nobody was really enthusiastic. At least not for the really high price.

Price-performance ratio is not right. In less than 10 minutes the food (not very nicely arranged) was on the table. Can it be made that fresh? Unfortunately really too expensive! Service friendly though!

We actually wanted to test the restaurant ourselves, despite the not only positive reviews. It was around 5:30 p.m. on September 22nd, 2020 and already very well attended. I wanted to make a reservation at the "reception" at 7pm. During the conversation and not far from the food service, the lady brushed her really beautiful hair with a hairbrush. The whole splendor was shaken vigorously again ...... and that's it. I was also very exhausted afterwards and thanked you for not making the reservation. I cannot comment on the food?

Very straightforward. We took a table outside. The interior is rustic, which exudes a certain flair. I like it! The food was very tasty. I had fried potatoes with clam crabs and a small side salad. My husband had the cod and the kids had the schnitzel from the kids menu. The waiter was very sympathetic to me because of his demeanor (he sang a lot). We were satisfied. I can't say the portions were small or that it was expensive there. What surprised us, however, was that no data was recorded there due to the current situation.

The currywurst can have more sauce, it felt like just a Krakow bratwurst with a little ketchup. In addition, the fries can be fried softer, i.e. shorter. But the waiter was always in a good mood and was singing a little for himself. Kudos to such an employee. I haven't seen any more, so I can only rate one.

In this "restaurant" only the food is recommended. Our fish plus North Sea shrimps were delicious. But the ambience leaves a lot to be desired! Old tables and chairs on a wooden terrace that was closed on the list with plastic film and does not look so inviting. But as I said: you accept it for the food and the restaurant is also open when others are closed for 2 days. ( Monday and Tuesday).

I´ve ordered mostly seafoods and I would say it´s totally worth it. All the ingredients used on a menu complements each other. It´s really delicious that I´ve clean the plate. ???

I had fried potatoes that just didn't taste like anything. You could eat the fish, but the amount of side salad was so small that you had to look for it and unfortunately it tasted like canned vegetables. Unfortunately, my husband's food was no better.

Can't understand the eternal complainers. Prices are now a little higher than at home. They can go to the North Sea. My food was definitely ok and the portion was ok too.

The restaurant is right behind or, better still, in front of the dike! The food seems to be very tasty on the whole! And the beers are well chilled too! There are also different types of delicious coffee! But unfortunately you don't take the Corona rules so exactly! The distances are not taken into account and masks are not worn correctly! Otherwise, the staff is friendly and helpful! The cleanliness was sufficient to good!

Very nice atmosphere with very nice employees! Very large selection, unfortunately not of vegetarian dishes. Food tasted great! All around successful, perfect restaurant ?

Every holiday we eat the giant currywurst here and what can I say ... always a pleasure. Even when we were there shortly after half past eight on Tuesday, we got something to eat. Hospitality is very important here. The staff especially the somewhat "older" gentleman who sings so beautifully ? is really nice. Please forgive the old. Ps: Thanks on behalf of the children for the mussels ?

Nice atmosphere right on the dike, large selection of fish dishes, food good, but unfortunately quite small portions for the price. Normal portions more like senior citizens' plates. If you come hungry, you won't get really full without an additional starter and dessert (only "main course around 20 €). Photo: only 2 of them were eaten.

Too broad variety of dishes and little portions. The service was good although the restaurant is very narrow and not good maintained.

It is time that the season is over, so it seemed to us. We sat where the waiters talked. The food was plentiful, because there were proportionally many fries / fried potatoes on the plate. The fish was therefore rather small, but reasonably priced for this tourist stronghold on the North Sea.

I are a soup with little nordsea crabs. They used gemüsebörse. It was so obvious. Also didn't taste like fish? Seasoning on everything was average. Will not visit again

After arrival in Norddeich we took a walk around and, being hungry, stepped into the restaurant. Very friendly staff! Very welcoming. We have chosen a crab soup and crab on bread as a starter. Very delicious. Main course 'But' and 'Steinbeisser' with baked potatoes and side salad. Also very delicious. Also not extraordinary. But solid.
